A Two-Campus Transport Problem
نویسندگان
چکیده
The presented two-campus transport problem (TCTP) is a pickup-anddelivery scheduling problem. It is a problem of a college with two campuses located at two different cities. Lecturers living in one city should sometimes teach at the other city campus. The problem is that of transporting N lecturers from one campus to the other, using a fleet of k vehicles, so as to minimize the time the lecturers wait for their transport. This is an optimal set partition problem. We mathematically model the one-directional case of the TCTP. The feasible space solution is represented by linear extensions of the requested departure time partially ordered set and reduction to the shortest path problem. This enables finding the optimal solution for the one directional case. TCTP is a two-destinations version of a dial-a-ride problem (DARP).

A Grey Transportation Problem in Fuzzy Environment
In classical transport models, it is always assumed that parameters such as the distance from each supply node to each demand node or the cost of transferring goods from one node to another, as well as quantities such as supply and demand are definite and definite amounts. But in real matters, considering these assumptions is not logical. On the other hand, there may be a real problem in mathem...
متن کاملBedload transport predictions based on field measurement data by combination of artificial neural network and genetic programming
Bedload transport is an essential component of river dynamics and estimation of its rate is important to many aspects of river management. In this study, measured bedload by Helley- Smith sampler was used to estimate the bedload transport of Kurau River in Malaysia. An artificial neural network, genetic programming and a combination of genetic programming and a neural network were used to estim...

متن کاملAnalysis of Secure Real Time Transport Protocol on VoIP over Wireless LAN in Campus Environment
In this research, we propose to implement Secure Real Time Transport Protocol (SRTP) on VoIP services in campus environment. Today, the deployment of VoIP in campus environment over wireless local area network (WLAN) is not considered on security during communication between two parties. Therefore, this study is to analyzed SRTP performance on different VoIP codec selection over wired. We have ...
متن کاملThe effects of cut-off walls on repulsing saltwater based on modeling of density-driven groundwater flow and salt transport
Abstract: A two-dimensional fully implicit finite difference model, which can be easily extended to three dimensions, is developed to study the effect of cut-off walls on saltwater intrusion into the aquifers. This model consists of a coupled system of two nonlinear partial differential equations which describe unsteady density-driven groundwater flow and solute transport. The numerica...
